Walking!

We have a walker!! She waited for Danny to get home from work, ray dinner and then showed us she can walk! Very exciting and even Alex was excited. We all cheered and clapped which encouraged her even more.

Slideshow and updates to follow

So, since I have been terrible about updating I hope that I can please you all by just getting by with a post of pictures. Hope you enjoy!

I just called to say "I love you!"

How you like them apples? :-) Now the song will be stuck in your head the rest of the day. Hahaha! or should that be the evil "Mwahahahaha"? :-P Just kidding.

Thought that I should update for real since my last post was just a link to see the coolest trailer yet. :-) But enough about Transformers 2.

Things around here have been crazy so I'll bullet:

• Mackenzie has been sick. Go figure. No really. She has had yet another round of ear infections. So, our ever so WONDERFUL (really I mean it) family doctor played the "let's check this out and do it worse case senerio" first instead of last. Good thing. Mackenzie was seen by another WONDERFUL doctor at Children's Hospital who is a Pulmonologist. He knew within 5 minutes (not including the long history of what's been going on) what was potentially wrong. We left there with a preliminary diagnosis of Tracheomalacia. So, off to X-ray and waiting for the schedulers to call regarding the bronchoscopy. I got the call today, that she'll have the procedure done next Wednesday, so I'm taking off work Wednesday-Friday just to make sure that she's ok. And really, I'm not thinking anything about work in those 3 days I'm going to be off.
• Danny has been getting ready for his inventory at work. Lots of prep goes into this one time a year deal. Blah... That just sucks with all that's going on with Mack and then his inventory starts on Thursday. Blah... can I say it again? Blah!
  
• Alex is growing like a weed. He's really into singing songs lately which is adorable. When he gets stuck, he usually says to whomever is around "Sing it ______". Too freaking cute. He's also really into big construction vehicles. With all the construction going on on the highway, he yells "Bulldozer _____". Kinda like how we yelled "cow" growing up as we drove through the country. :-)
• Birthdays galore are coming up. First Danny's Dad, then Kenzie's, then Danny's, then Alex's, then my Dad... jeeze. Summer sure is a busy time!Then you throw in there all the holidays and such and summer is GONE!
• Work is a daily struggle. I've had some good meetings lately that I'm hoping things come out of, but I just don't know if I have the energy or desire to keep going. I'm praying hard and fast about this. I just don't know where I want to be (other than at home with my kids). I know many others that have been on this journey lately and it seems to end in a job change, position change, or going back to school. I know the answer will come soon enough, but for now I'm hanging in there.
• I've been asked and approached on numerous occasions now to present/speak/be there to represent the American Humanics program for WSU as an Alumni. Kinda cool and shows me a hint of a light at the end of the long tunnel.
